The 2" Refractor for £21.00

Don't laugh I was going to do the same as Galileo, discover untold planets, stars and galaxies and for less than 25 quid.

Well, you guessed it that didn't happen, probably that's why there is no name on the telescope or country of manufacture on the box, and the instructions were in every language but English.

I did however see the Moon, but then most people can and I did see Saturn with a ring around it "NOT BAD HEY!"

What I did not read in the books was you had to be outside at 10pm in January freezing your xxxxx off. But I had now got the bug!

So to bigger and better things

A 10" Dobsonian Telescope. (The wife will kill me when I take this dustbin home with me I thought). I had to add a zero and some to the 25quid, but "watch out M52 ComaBerensice" were ever that is "here I come"

Well the books did say get as big a Light Bucket that you can afford, well I always wanted a big one!

What did I see The Moon AGAIN!,  Saturn AGAIN only this time it was 1cm bigger than before, and I'm still outside freezing my xxxx off.

This Astronomy experience must get better soon.

So yet a 3rd telescope one I can at least move without a crane.

A 4" Refractor, back to my usual little one again.

Its better this time though because its the wife sat outside freezing her xxxx off.

I finally took pity on her and decided what she needed was a GAZEBO in the garden
